Strength training to gain strength and loose weight
While cardio-aerobic exercises are necessary and highly effective for weight loss, strength training and working with weights is equally necessary. Strength training, also called by some as weight training, is an exercise which uses weights or resistance to strengthen the body's skeleton and muscles. This improves endurance, muscle tone, and also lean body tissue. Strength exercises can include pulling weights, climbing stairs, doing pushups, rowing, etc. While fitness equipment may be necessary for some exercises, it can also be performed without investing into the equipment, and simply following a strength training exercise routine.
